Swae Lee, whose real name is Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, is an American artist who raps, sings, and writes music. Swae Lee is one of the very few hip-hop artists who have a wide range of vocals along with an eye for genre-bending, and this helps him stand out in the industry.
Swae Lee is part of a hip-hop duo called Rae Sremmurd with his brother Slim Jxmmi. Despite this, he is more popular in the music industry as a solo artist. This is because he is able to show off his talents and range with more freedom than if he was performing in a band with others.

The song Sunflower by Post Malone and Swae Lee was recorded for the soundtrack of Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse. It is also included in Post Malone’s album Hollywood’s Bleeding. However, its biggest achievement by far has certainly got to be the 17 platinum RIAA certificates which made it the highest certified song in the RIAA.
