Not only did Amber go on to win The Masked Singer, but she also went on to win Dancing with the Stars. You would think that she would stop right there but no. Riley even went on to compete in The Masked Singer UK. While she did not win, we certainly enjoyed watched her on our screens once again. Let’s take a look at her journey in these popular shows.
The Masked Singer USA
If you’re not familiar with The Masked Singer, it is a TV show where singers perform disguised as different things so there isn’t a bias in the decision-making. Their identities are only revealed once they’re either eliminated or they win the show.
Amber Riley was revealed to be Harp who was actually the first performer of the season and also the last one standing as she went on to win the show. She played a selection of powerful songs, all ranging from Lady Gaga to Whitney Houston.
The Masked Singer UK
Since the original The Masked Singer became such a hit, they decided to produce a UK version as well. Amber Riley left no page unturned as she went on to perform in the UK version of the show in season 4. She was hidden behind the disguise of a Jellyfish.
Unfortunately, she was eliminated before making it to the finale. Despite being eliminated, she managed to win the hearts of both the judges and the viewers through her powerful song choices and mesmerizing vocals.
Dancing with the Stars
Not only can she sing, but she can also dance! Amber Riley competed in the 17th season of DWTS with dance partner Derek Hough. She managed to get an almost perfect score during the first week after performing to Little Mix’s “Wings”. She went on to get even better and better throughout the show and ended up being crowned the champion.
