A Summary of Beyonce’s Solo Albums and Their Performance

Beyoncé is an American singer and songwriter who gained popularity from being the lead singer in the girl band Destiny’s Child. However, it was only when she went solo that her career finally took off, and she soon became one of the top female musicians today and in history.

Being of the top female singers in the world, there is no doubt that fans are gushing over her music and are dying to get their hands on her albums. Beyoncé released seven solo studio albums during her career. Each of these albums was just as successful as the next.

According to the RIAA, Beyoncé has managed to sell over 29.5 million albums in the United States alone. If we’re assuming that each individual bought one album, that means that 29.5 million people have one of Beyoncé’s seven top hit solo albums.

Certifications

But album sales aren’t the only thing that Beyoncé has to brag for. In fact, the RIAA even gives out certifications to albums that cross a certain number of sales. For instance, 500k units in sales would get you the gold certification and 10 million units the diamond certification.

Beyoncé is the sixth most certified artist in all of America’s history. She has a total of 114 million RIAA Single Awards for her astounding work in the music industry and for being able to touch the hearts of millions and billions of people all around the world with her voice and compassion. 


Grammy Awards

If you thought that this female artist was done with just album sales and certifications, then think again! Beyoncé finds herself consistently being nominated for the Grammys and is now the most nominated female artist of all time. She has had a total of 79 nominations in her career.

Of all her nominations, Beyoncé has won 28 Grammys in her career, making her also the female artist with the most Grammys of all time. Quincy Jones shares this spot with her as the two of them both have a total of 28 Grammy awards under their belt.
