Three accolades Jessi has received that she’s most proud of, aside from Ms. Elite Fresh Face Universal, are the 2018 White House Foods Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr Community Leader Award, the DreamBIG Productions 2018 Mother of the Year Award and winning Miss U.S. Plus World 2020.
How do you use your platform as an influencer to spread "What's Good" to the world and who have you impacted?
Since becoming an ambassador for The Dove Self Esteem Project, Jessica has been able to deliver self-esteem education workshops to hundreds of young people ages 8-16, parents, mentors, teachers, and youth leaders. Because of the global pandemic, she had to find creative ways to share her platform. She now offers workshops through Zoom and Google classroom as well as sharing her message of confidence and positivity on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
What are some projects that you are currently working on or promoting?
Jessi is always passionate about her humanitarianism work and she is currently finishing up illustrations for another children’s book!
Who do you have to credit for your success?
From a very young age, Jessica’s parents instilled in her their values and a passion for volunteering and giving back and she fully credits them for her altruistic spirit.
What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
Jessica’s ultimate career goal is to publish an entire series of children’s books that she both writes and illustrates.
