Mini Miss Cosmos United States, Demi Davenport, is the 4-year-old daughter of Dane and Brandi Davenport from Peachtree City, Ga. She attends preschool in her hometown where she loves to go to art class, recess, and PE. In her free time, she loves to dance, swim, do gymnastics, go to the nail salon, play tennis, and of course go to her pageants. She also loves to paint. Painting her kindness rocks for her platform, Dazzled by Demi, is her most favorite project to do. Demi hopes that during her reign as Mini Miss Cosmos US that she helps spread kindness where ever she goes and makes an impact in and around her community as she represents this fabulous system.
What are some major achievements or accolades that you've accumulated?
At 4 years old, this tiny sass has definitely accomplished A LOT. This past summer when she competed for the title of Mini Miss Cosmos US she got up on stage by herself and recited a 45 sec introduction to a panel of 8 judges and a crowd full of spectators. She nailed it!! After her recitation, she then answered a question from each judge. This was a huge accomplishment for her. She worked extremely hard at speaking in front of a crowd and it certainly was one of the highlights from the weekend, especially getting to tell the judges and crowd about her platform Dazzled by Demi.
How do use your platform as an influencer to spread "What's Good" to the world and who have you impacted?
Dazzled by Demi is the platform that she and her mom came up with to help spread kindness in and around the community. With this platform, Demi gets to share her love for painting and paints kindness rocks to leave around the community in hopes to brighten someone's day. She also stocks little libraries with new or gently used books and stocks pantries in her neighboring community. Demi LOVES hotels. She also loves to collect toiletries from her hotel visits and from fellow travelers to make hygiene bags for homeless shelters. Helping out her fellow pageant sisters and brothers is something she is most passionate about. She loves to Feed the Fearless (a platform by her sister queen Katie Mode) which helps bring snacks and special treats to local police and fire stations. She also loves helping out her friend, Haley who is America's National Miss Little Miss, with multiple charities that her system is involved in like Sock it to the Homeless.
What are some projects that you are currently working on or promoting?
Demi is currently in the works with setting up water stations around her own community. Along with her papa, they are designing a water pantry that they will set up along the cart path in her community for people who need water while out for a walk, jog, bike or cart ride. Her community has 100 miles of cart paths that people use for exercise, leisure, or means of transportation around the community. With the new norm during this pandemic, she's hoping to build and stock up a few water pantries along these paths for people who need to cool down or need rehydrating during their strolls. Dazzle the Day is what she would say!
Who do you have to credit for your success?
Demi would love to thank her director's Stephi, Stevie, Sharon, and Renee for giving her the opportunity to be a part of this amazing Cosmos system and giving her the tools to get out and help around her community. She is forever grateful for that. She would also love to thank her mom and dad for all the love and support they give her as she pursues her dreams!
