Highlighting a Rising Youth: Media Professional, Joshue Garza

Our publisher, Dr. Calynn Lawrence, had the pleasure of being interviewed by an up and coming Media Professional who reached out to her on social media named Joshue Garza. She had a great experience and loved the article that he published about her!

Joshue’s major accomplishments are abstract rather than concrete. After graduating from high school, he realized he needed to work harder academically and tailor his mindset to his new study habits if he wanted to pursue his dream of becoming an Investment Banker.

While his test scores and grades were average, he knew he needed to do something to improve both academically and mentally. He began developing habits such as reading, writing, and completing math prep for calculus. In addition, he was an admitted participant in finance-based academies at Harvard, offered by Harvard Student Agencies, and at Northwestern, offered by the National Student Leadership Conference. These programs helped him discover different ways to approach his career during college and take the initiative to help people through something he’s passionate about.

As a student, he has already published an article to Research Gate on the topic of financial motivation in teens which was quite impressive!

Additionally, he founded Financial Literacy for Youth to educate youth about financial principles and published his first research paper on how youth perceive economic conditions. He is truly a star with remarkable ambition for such a young age! We look forward to seeing the impact he will have one the world through his amazing work and unmatched tenacity.
